Orange pound cake:
Ingredients:
▪Plain flour...........2 cups
(Maida)
▪Baking powder............2 tsp
▪Salt.................1/4 tsp
▪Fresh Orange juice.........1 cup (200 ml)
▪Icing sugar.............1 & 1/2 cup
▪Eggs....................3 pcs(at room temperature)
▪Vanilla essence ...........1/2 tsp
▪Oil................... 1/2 cup (100ml)
▪Orange zest.........1 tbsp
■Direction:-
Firstly ,sieve the flour, baking powder, salt and set aside.





Add eggs and sugar in another bowl .Beat it well until it become fluffy.



Add vanilla essence and oil and mix it well.


Add half of the flour mixture in it and fold it Now add fresh orange juice and mix it .
After that, add remaining flour mixture in it and fold it well.







Now add grated orange zest and mix it.


Pour the batter into the greased pan with butter paper. Pan size is 10"× 3" and 6" × 3".


Bake in a preheated oven at 180°c for 35 to 40 mins or bake in a preheated pateela for 35 to 40 mins on low to medium flame.


●Note:-
Bake until a toothpick inserted in the cake comes out clean.


Now take out pan from heat and cool it down and then turn out onto serving plate.
